The current look launched in December 2007, when ITV plc's regional news magazines started broadcasting in widescreen. Channel Report has not as yet adopted the yellow and black look as seen elsewhere across the network.

In April 2009, the programme started to use a theme which is very different to generic ITV plc music. Video to follow.
